visit our site. As an organization we are solely focused on and dedicated to,
working with children and families that are undergoing cancer treatment. Cancer
is a devastating disease that affects the whole family when a child is
diagnosed. It is a disease that seems to come out of nowhere and strikes at
children of all ages and economic background. It strains a family financially
and emotionally. |

The professional staff at the children’s hospitals is dedicated to caring for
the child undergoing treatment. Candlelighters is an all-volunteer group
focused on filling in the gaps to meet the needs that the professional medical
staff and social workers are unable to. We are a support system and resource
for the families and siblings who are helping with the cancer child’s care.
Please take the time to review our site. We are always looking for volunteers
and donations to help in the support of the cancer children and their families.
